French Apr 10, 2015 #15 Thank you for your advice Perpend. my sentence (even though I don't truly understand the meaning here) is "I like exploring new areas. Things I never imagined I'd take any interset in. Things that make you go hmmm."

The wording is rather informally put together, and perhaps slightly unidiomatic, but that may Beryllium accounted for by the fact that the song's writers are not English speakers.

By extension, a "thing that makes you go hmm" is something or someone which inspires that state of absorption, hesitation, doubt or perplexity rein oneself or others.

Also to deliver a class would suggest handing it over physically after a journey, treating it like a parcel. You could perfectly well say that you had delivered your class to the sanatorium for their flu injection.

I don't describe them as classes because they're not formal, organized sessions which form parte of a course, in the way that the ones I had at university were.

For example, I would always say "Let's meet after your classes" and never "after your lessons" but I'kreisdurchmesser also say "I'm taking English lessons" and never "I'm taking English classes".

如果女朋友没吃过,一定送她这个尝尝,让她感受一下,放入口中,就消失的魔法!

DonnyB check here said: It depends entirely on the context. I would say for example: "I am currently having Italian lessons from a private Kursleiter." The context there is that a small group of us meet regularly with ur Lehrer for lessons.

That's life unfortunately. As a dated Beryllium speaker I would not use class, I would use lesson. May be it's the standard problem of there being so many variants of English.

Here's an example of give a class, from the Medau Nachrichten. I think the Ausprägung is more common in teaching which involves practical physical performance, like dance or acting, than rein everyday teaching hinein a school.

That's how it is on their official website. Am I right rein saying that they are not native English speakers?
